Brief Bio of Stephen Fowler
Stephen Fowler is the founder and CEO of Boardseat.com, a San Francisco-based company that matches growing companies with outside board directors and advisory board members. Prior to founding Boardseat.com, Stephen spent five years as a venture capitalist, firstly with Berkeley International Capital, a later-stage fund based in San Francisco, and latterly as a General Partner with Aspen Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund based in Silicon Valley.
Stephen spent the first part of his career in Europe where his most recent position was Chief Executive Officer of Chubb Parsi s.a., a subsidiary of Racal/Chubb Group, a multinational electronics, telecommunications, fire and security company based in the UK. Previously Stephen held a variety of operational positions with Virgin Group and Ever Ready. Stephenˇ¦s education includes ACMA and ACIS qualifications from the UK, in addition to an MBA from the London Business School.
Stephen has sat on a number of high-technology corporate and advisory boards and is an angel investor in a number of Silicon Valley startups.
